William (Bill) Don Wayman, 65, passed away peacefully at his home in Kearns, Utah following a long battle with kidney disease and heart failure.
Bill was born October 31, 1957, to Ruth Afton Ryan and Oscar Don Wayman in Price, Utah. He grew up in Murray and Granger, Utah. He graduated from Granger High School in 1976. He married Kaylene Despain on August 23rd, 1978, in Taylorsville, Utah and a year later they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
Bill worked as a manager at Skaggs, then Osco. Then started working in sales in the automotive industry eventually working his way up to be an Inventory control manager at several dealerships. After his time in the automotive industry, he transitioned to doing handyman work and property management.
He loved camping, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed traveling, especially cruises. For many years he worked with the scouting program in his ward and was an Eagle Scout himself. Bill loved his fur babies and had many through his life. He enjoyed trying new foods, especially seafood and could often be found on Fridays at Miners for prime rib. He loved being a grandfather, even though his health prohibited him from doing all that he wanted with his granddaughters. They were what kept him going for a long time.
He is survived by his wife, Kaylene; two children, Jeremy, Kearns; Alicia (Shaun) Kruger, West Jordan; two beautiful granddaughters, Tori and Savannah; sister, Shirlynn Elmer, Grantsville; and brothers, Scott (Judy), Murray and Robert (Patty), West Jordan.
He is preceded in death by his son Eric, his parents, and sister, Brenda Wayman.

The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to his many healthcare providers and his dialysis teams.
