Stephen Foster Lynch, 84, passed away at his home in Slaterville, Utah January 2, 2022. He was born March 26, 1937 in Ogden, Utah to Thomas and Dovie Ollie Lee Nix Lynch. Stephen is survived by his wife Darlene and their children Susie (Forrest), Marjorie, Tom (Stephanie), Cheryl (Jason), Elizabeth (Clint), Lynette (Marcus), Lucy (Danen), and Russell (Jenny). Stephen is preceded in death by his first wife Nola and all his siblings.
Stephen had many hobbies but was most known for his love of restoring and replicating antique furniture. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved serving in the Scouting program and as a host at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in SLC for 10+ years.
Stephen served in the US Army in Germany and worked as an Air Traffic Controller in Bryce Canyon and Panama Canal Zone. He passed away in the home he crafted and built in 1976 in Slaterville, Utah.
Funeral Services will be held at the Marriott-Slaterville Church Friday, January 14 at 11:00 am with a viewing January 13 from 6-8pm in the same building (250 N 1500 W, MSC, UT). Interment at Ogden City Cemetery.
