Shauna Lee Frazier

1948 - 2019

Our beloved wife, daughter, sister, mom and grandmother, Shauna Lee Frazier, age 71, returned home to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on the 24th of October, 2019.  Shauna was born to loving parents, Howard Lee and LaVerna Terry Ricks on the 23rd of April, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She was the mother to 4 children and grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Shauna was one of the most tenacious people you’d ever meet.  She was a fighter until the very end.  Her greatest accomplishment was her family; she loved each one of them dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.  She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go camping and boating.  She also loved to travel and would do so whenever she could.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint.  She was sealed to her husband, the love of her life, in the Salt Lake temple for time and all eternity.

She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Lee Ricks.  She is survived by her husband, Arthur Garrick Frazier, Jr., four children:  Kelly (Theresa) Frazier, Bryant (Donna) Frazier, Honey Nielsen (Kelly Pope) and Jesse Frazier (Jenny Alluman),  12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, her mother, LaVerna Ricks Mead, and her siblings, Darla (Wallace) Bowden, Vicki Ricks, Jaena (Brent) Gibson, sister-in-law, Melodie Motock and many other beloved family members.  She will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 29th, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, River 2nd Ward, 1380 West 6785 South in West Jordan, Utah. Family and friends are invited to visit the viewing on Monday evening, October 28th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to noon above address.  Interment will follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive.
