Shane William Petroni, born on May 31, 1982, peacefully passed away at home on April 1st 2025.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Shane William Petroni. He was a beloved son to Larry and Cynthia Petroni and a dedicated brother to Chelae Hiatt, Jeanell Martinez, and Jason Petroni. As a caring father, he held a profound love for his sons, Paxton and Kai Petroni.
Shane took great joy in being the "funcle" to his nieces and nephews: Brendan, Anthony, Patrice, Alison, Amanda, Courtney, Jace, and Avery, filling their lives with laughter, adventure, and happiness. He also cherished many close friends, whom he considered brothers, loving them as if they were part of his family.
An avid lover of the outdoors and sports, Shane found pleasure in activities such as football, fishing, hunting, and camping. Whether at work or with family, he was always eager to offer assistance, share a laugh, and create lasting memories.
Shane had a heart as expansive as the sky and a spirit that will be remembered eternally. His kindness, humor, and love for those around him will continue to resonate in the lives he touched.
He is survived by his sons, Paxton and Kai Petroni; his father, Larry Petroni; his sisters, Chelae (Randy) Hiatt, Jeanell Martinez, and brother Jason Petroni; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia J. Petroni, and his grandparents, Van and Jacqueline Lyons, Frank and Mary Petroni, as well as cousins Ethan, Austin, Robert, Shantelle, and Jay.
