Santos Nicolasa Sevilla was received back into our Heavenly Fathers arms, surrounded by her loving family on March 13, 2017 at 12:17 AM in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on September 10, 1942 in Honduras. She is survived by her children; Nohemy Ventura (William), Norma Erekson (David), José Alberto Ventura Sevilla (Mary Elizabeth), and Juan Adolfo Ventura Sevilla (Margarita), 20 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Arnulfo Enrique Godoy Sevilla. Nicolasa was always a very hard working and dedicated mother. She was born and raised in Honduras and loved her home country. Although she had a very modest education, she always worked hard as a single mother to provide for her 5 children. She made sure they had an opportunity to receive an education and taught them to work, to be self-sufficient , and to be kind and loving. She converted to the LDS church in 1981 and has been a faithful member ever since. She made sure that her family knew her testimony of the gospel and never missed an opportunity to talk about the gospel with her family. She served quietly but greatly. She loved serving her family and spent much of her time later in life cooking favorite meals for her grandchildren. She always seemed to be helping those around her. She loved to laugh and would often use her sense of humor to bring her family together. Nicolasa adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spent her time cultivating individual relationships with each person. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will take place at the Sage chapel (14242 S Loumis Pky (1690 West), Bluffdale, Utah) on March 24 from 6-8pm. A viewing will be held on March 25 from 10-11 with funeral services beginning at 11am in the same chapel. The interment will be directly after at the Riverton City cemetery.

Santos Nicolasa Sevilla regresó a los brazos de nuestro Padre Celestial, rodeada de su amada familia el 13 de marzo 2017a las 12:17 AM en la ciudad de Lago Salado, Utah. Ella nació el 10 de septiembre 1942 en Honduras. La sobreviven sus hijos; Nohemy Ventura (William), Norma Erekson (David), José Alberto Ventura Sevilla (Mary Elizabeth), y Juan Adolfo Ventura Sevilla (Margarirta), 20 nietos y 34 bisnietos. Fue precedida en la muerte por su hijo, Arnulfo Enrique Godoy Sevilla. Nicolasa siempre fue una mujer muy trabajadora y madre dedicada. Ella nació y creció en Honduras y amó mucho su país. A pesar de haber tenido una educación muy modesta, ella siempre trabajó muy duro como madre soltera para proveer para sus 5 hijos. Ella se aseguró de que sus hijos tuvieron la oportunidad de recibir una educación y les enseñó a trabajar, a ser auto-suficientes, y a ser amorosos y bondadosos. Ella se convirtió a la religión LDS en 1981 y fue una miembro fiel desde entonces. Ella se aseguraba de que su familia conociera su testimonio del evangelio y nunca perdió la oportunidad de expresárselo. Ella sirvió en silencio pero en grande manera. Ella amó servir a su familia y pasaba mucho tiempo cocinando la comida favorita de sus nietos. Siempre estaba ayudando a otros. Le gustaba reír y a menudo usaba su sentido de humor para reunir a su familia. Nicolasa adoraba a sus nieto y bisnietos y pasaba su tiempo cultivando relaciones individuales con cada uno de ellos. Ella es grandemente amada y se le extrañará mucho. Una celebración de su vida se llevará a cabo en la capilla Sage (14242 S Loumis Pky (1690 West), Bluffdale, Utah) de 6-8PM el 24 de marzo 2017. Habrá un velorio el 25 de marzo de 10-11 con los servicios del funeral empezando a las 11AM en la misma capilla. El entierro será directamente después en el cementerio de la ciudad de Riverton.
