Robert "Chuck" Jensen

Robert Charles Jensen (57) passed away September 19, 2018, after a brief, courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family. Chuck was born December 17, 1960, in Burley, Idaho. He married his sweetheart, Tina Sedgley on April 23, 1982 in Bountiful, Utah and later solemnized in the Bountiful temple.

Chuck was a man of many talents and loved to work with his hands. There was nothing he couldn’t fix, build, rebuild, or make better. Many have well-running cars and various other machinery as a result of his efforts. He had a passion for building hot rods, dune buggies, and pretty much everything else with wheels and went fast. He had a positive influence on many people; everyone who knew him valued his friendship and willingness to listen. His driveway was affectionately dubbed the loitering zone, as many family members, friends, and acquaintances frequently stopped by to enjoy his company.

When he was not fixing something or helping someone in many capacities, Chuck cherished spending time with family. He loved getting outdoors, going camping, biking, and taking long road trips. He knew how to have fun and made sure everyone was included and enjoyed themselves during every outing and activity.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Ray and older brother, Dennis. He is survived by his wife, Tina; daughter Hayley (David) Johnson; mother, Marilyn; sister, Donette; brother, Terry (Kelly Ann); brother, David (Kristin); sister-in-law, Loueda Allan Jensen; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of a viewing, a celebration of life will be held Monday, September 24, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 25, at 11 a.m with a viewing 1 hour prior to the funeral service. Both events will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Val Verda fourth ward chapel, 2633 South 50 West, Bountiful, Utah. The internment will take place at the Bountiful Cemetery.
