Marianne vanBree

Our Beloved Mother, Grandmother(Oma) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family at the age of 87. She was born in The Hague, The Netherlands. She survived WWII as a young girl with her dad and brother on one of the west Frisian Islands where there were many German soldiers. Later her family moved to Utrecht where she was working at a swimming pool when she met a handsome young man named Egbert van Bree and in 1953 they married. After having 2 boys (Egbert [Jana] and Rudy [Jalyn]) they migrated to Utah in 1956 where they had 4 more children, Marianne Christiansen [Les], Robert [Ling], Ben [Nellie who passed away in 2013 later married to Donna] and Jim [Jacki]. She has 20 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband and oldest son Egbert who both passed away in 2011.

Funeral services will be on October 1st, 2021, a public viewing will be held from 11:00am to 12:45pm followed by an intimate service at 1:00pm at the LDS Rolling Hills Chapel at  210 East 1825 North Centerville Utah followed by interment at the Centerville cemetery.
