Mackenzie Diane Anderson
June 19,1999-August 9, 2020 (age 21)
Mackenzie Diane Anderson, 21 of Woods Cross, UT passed away peacefully at home after a 21-month battle of Stage IV Melanoma Cancer. She fought a valiant fight and touched many people through her quiet strength, perseverance, strong will and kindness.
She was born in Bountiful, UT, June 19, 1999. She grew up in the area between Bountiful and Woods Cross. After graduating from Woods Cross High School (2017), she was able to go to St. George and go to Dixie University for a year and live and work down there. She had the love of her life, Ivan Kingston, who was with her for almost 3 years and stuck by her side through the good and the bad and even being apart by distance.
She is survived by her parents, Kirk and Bobbie Anderson, younger brothers Mitchell and William, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
We want to thank the many Doctors, Nurses and Health Professionals at Huntsman Cancer Institute who helped and served her. She quietly brought light and life into many people’s lives just being her.
A viewing will be held from 6-8pm on Thursday August 13 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Apple Chapel in Woods Cross (790 W 1500 S) on Friday August 14 at 10 am. With the funeral at 11 am. We ask that you please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
