LeeAnn Spackman

January 15, 1938 — May 2, 2021

LeeAnn Hinckley Spackman passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 2, 2021. She was born January 15, 1938 in Provo Utah to Vivian Noble and Julia Bowen Hinckley. She married Robert Curtis Spackman on Feb 5, 1957. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Switzerland LDS temple. LeeAnn and Robert spent the first two years of marriage in Germany where Robert was serving in the USAF. They were blessed with a daughter and a son. Together they raised their two children in West Valley.

LeeAnn loved dogs and knew about most breeds, in fact, her dogs were among the most spoiled dogs on earth. She enjoyed many outdoor activities with her family including camping, river running and gardening.

She loved sewing, tying quilts for many loved ones, along with oil painting, being with her family

and giving plenty of unsolicited advice .

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, daughter Susan Spackman Giles and grandson Taylor Giles. She is survived by her sister Linda Nickle, son David (Lori) Spackman, son-in-law Ken Giles , grandsons Alex (Christina) Giles, Adam, (Jill) Spackman, Derek (Emily) Spackman, Kyle (McKenna) Spackman, Austin (Miranda) Spackman and 10 great-grand children.

Viewing to be held Friday May 7, 2021 from 11-11:45AM at the Merry Ln. bldg. 3372 S. Merry Ln. (5275 W).

Graveside service, 12:30 PM held at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 S. WVC, UT.
