Kathy Lydia Mollner

Kathy Lydia Mollner, age 73, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. Born on July 5, 1951, she was adopted by Ralph and Thayle Olsen. Kathy found her true soulmate in Flint Mollner, with whom she shared 22 beautiful years of marriage. Flint was not just her husband; he was the love of her life and the light of her world.

Kathy was the beloved mother of Kristine Nah and Kenneth Cox, and a proud grandmother to Taiya Barcelon and Christian Nah. She is also survived by her siblings, Doug Olsen, Eleanor Forman and Frank Garcia, and her cherished stepchildren, Brady Mollner and Melissa McKinnon.

A true classic car enthusiast, Kathy could often be found at car shows, proudly showcasing her beloved T-Bird alongside Flint. Her passion for life was infectious, especially when accompanied by her favorite song, "Fun, Fun, Fun" by the Beach Boys. 

Kathy's humor, often laced with her signature sarcasm, brought smiles to all who knew her. She was an eternal optimist, always seeing the glass as half full, which reminded her family and friends to embrace life’s joys and face challenges with a smile.

Above all, Kathy treasured her family, offering unconditional love and support. Her kindness, generosity, and acceptance made her an amazing friend to many. She leaves behind a community of loved ones who will forever remember her vibrant spirit and unwavering love.

Kathy will be deeply missed, but her legacy of laughter and warmth will live on in the hearts of those she touched. A celebration of her life will be held on October 12, 2024, at the Canyon Crossing Riverwalk clubhouse (6880 S 700 W, Midvale, UT) from 11am-4pm, where friends and family are invited to share their cherished memories.
