Karen L Newsome Long
Karen was born January 21, 1958 and left us on January 6, 2017. She is survived in life by her five kids, Chris, Demetrius, Monique, Billy, Tommy, and her mother Maryland and her sister and 3 brothers. She was preceded in death by her father Julius, brother Jimmy, Aunt Susie, nephew Scotty and grandma Maggie.
Karen was a beautiful woman inside and out. To know her I can guarantee at one point she has made you laugh or smile. She had the biggest heart. She was always wanting and willing to help anyone in need. If she had it to give, she would. Karen was also known as a lady that always had an open door and we can’t count how many kids she called her own. We can’t tell you how many sons and daughters she had because there are many. She will never be forgotten because her smiling face has touched so many.
Funeral services will be held January 13, 2017 at the Kearns 10th ward meeting house, 5025 West 4865 South Kearns Utah, 84118 at 12 noon with a viewing one hour prior. Friends may call the night before (January 12, 2017) from 6-8 at the same location.
Interment will be at Redwood Memorial Estates following the services.
