Janna Lee Manning

Janna was born on April 5th, 1955 to John B. Wey and Violet Maxine Taylor Wey in Granger Utah. 

She is a survived by her Son Jason Micheal (Lynnie) Manning, Daughter Tabatha Margo Manning, Michael D. Manning father of Jason and Tabatha, Grandsons Jordan, John, Cole, and a new blessing Grandbaby 2025. Sisters Margo (Alan) Meacham, Tina Eskelson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Our spitfire Mom, Grandma, Aunt, Cousin and friend rejoined her Mother and Father, Brother Gary, Sister Connie, and Brother John in Heaven on March 1st, 2025. 

Janna (Mom) found passion and joy in taking care of her home and yard, inside and out. She loved decorating for every holiday with lots of solar lights of all colors. Janna loved spoiling her kids and grandkids simply for the joy it brought them. She loved to shop and couldn’t pass a good sale. She loved to hear babies laugh and watch children play. Mom loved a good adventure, or a road trip to Wendover with her Sisters. 

Janna worked 20 years at Associated Foods, and 15 years at Walmart. After those 35 years she retired and continued to work passionately at the Brazen and Studio/Ranch in Grantsville Utah as the BEST bartender ever, known only as mom, with her Son and Daughter in law Jason and Lynnie. 

Mom’s light was felt by all who where blessed to know her. She will be loved and missed by many, her work and passions will never be forgotten. Janna (mom) will be loved and cherished by her children and grandchildren who will continue to build her legacy

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 8, 2025 at 11:00am, with a viewing prior from 9:30-10:30am. A viewing will take place the night before, Friday March 7, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm. All services will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4252 So Bennion Rd. Taylorsville UT, 84129.

Interment will follow the services at the Taylorsville City Cemetery, 4567 So Redwood Rd, Taylorsville Ut, 84123
