Eric Stringer

Eric James Stringer, age 31, who was A Beloved Son, Brother and Grandson, passed away suddenly at his home in West Jordan.  He was born April 7, 1988 in Salem, Oregon. He was a special gift and oldest son of Ricky LeRoy and Wendy Kay Lancaster and a beloved brother of Lyle Duane and Maria Ivie Stringer.
Eric was raised in West Jordan and attended Westvale Elementary, Joel P Jenson Middle School and West Jordan High School. He later attended Valley. He worked in the construction industry with his uncle. He loved the outdoors and spent time camping and fishing.

Eric was a Boy Scout and loved the scouting program. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Vaughn Lancaster and two uncles, Randy Stringer and Randy Lancaster. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held December 12, 2019, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Elm Creek Ward building located at 8539 South 2200 West in West Jordan. Viewing will be held at 10:00 am with the funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be at the West Jordan Cemetery at 7800 south 1300 West.
