Darwin Syversen

Darwin Syversen – February 16, 1948 – October 20, 2021

The regimented routine of our husband, father, grandfather, and friend has come to a sudden end, leaving a hole in our hearts. Darwin loved to tell stories, socialize with friends and family, watch baseball, and exercise. He ran over 32 marathons and numerous other races with friends and his children. The stories of the fun during regular runs and races will forever make us laugh. He loved sharing jokes and funny stories.

Darwin married the love of his life, Anne, in 1968 after graduating from West High. Together they raised five wild children and spoiled four grandchildren. He loved his wife, Anne, his children Ryan, Heather, Derek (Trish), Jared and Tyler, his grandchildren Austin, Sydnie, Zane and Max, his sisters Chris and Cathy.

We will miss his bright smile, sense of humor, listening to his stories, and watching music videos with him. He will truly be missed by his long list of friends and family.
