Arthur Steven Reeves passed away peacefully on the morning ofJune 9, 2024 in the loving care of his siblings in Taylorsville, Utah. The man affectionately known as “Little Art” was born May 25, 1953 in Salt Lake City, UT to Arthur William Reeves (“Big Art”) and Barbara Ann Reeves (Butcher). Art was preceded in death by his parents and brother Rod Reeves. He is survived by brother Ken (Daryl) Reeves – Taylorsville, UT; sister Judy Garn – Taylorsville, UT; brother Brett Reeves - Magna, UT; daughter Tori Ely Reeves – Cedar City, UT; son Chad Reeves – Taylorsville, UT; son Travis (Michele) Reeves – Lehi, UT and grandchildren Trey, Kalli, Kelsie, Emry, Madelyn, Emily, Avery & Layla.
Little Art was beloved by many and always greeted you with a smile. He was generous in life and always willing to share what he had with others. In his youth he enjoyed fishing and camping with family, playing on a baseball team, spending time at Wendover and collecting coins. In his later years he enjoyed listening to music and taking care of his oldest son Chad. They could often be found at a movie or a haunted house or just relaxing at home. He also enjoyed having a cup of coffee each morning with his brother Ken and calling to check on his kids. Those who knew him best will miss him immensely.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life in memory of Little Art on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:30 pm at the LDS chapel located at 1495 West Tamarack Road, Taylorsville, UT.
