Alfonso Mauro Torres

Alfonso Torres-Suárez, of Huancavelica, Peru, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on August 17, 2023. He is survived by his loving children: Walter, Manuel, Charo, Javier, Johanna, Ephraim, 16 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Estela (2012), his son Jaime, his daughters Teresa and Linda Cheli and his parents.

On November 8, 1940, Alfonso came into this world as one of the ten children born to Maria Rosa Suarez-Tapia and Porciano Juan Torres Ramirez.

Alfonso was a devoted parent, and his legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren, who remember him with love and fond memories. In this time of grief, Alfonso’s family are united in their love and remembrance of him. As they gather to celebrate his life, they find comfort in eternal families.

A funeral service to honor Alfonso Torres-Suárez's life will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023. The viewing will be at 10 am, and the funeral services will be at 11 am. The service will be held at Taylorsville North Stake, located at 1250 W. Atherton Dr. in Taylorsville, UT. Following that, a graveside service will take place at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 S., Millcreek, UT.

Alfonso Torres-Suárez de Huancavelica, Perú, amado esposo, padre y abuelo, falleció rodeado de sus seres queridos el 17 de Agosto de 2023. Le sobreviven sus queridos hijos: Walter, Manuel, Charo, Javier, Johanna, Ephraim, 16 nietos y 6 bisnietos. Fue precedido en la muerte por su esposa Estela (2012) y su hijo Jaime, sus hijas Teresa y Linda Cheli así, como por sus padres.

El 8 de Noviembre de 1940, Alfonso llegó a este mundo como uno de los diez hijos nacidos de Maria Rosa Suárez-Tapia y Porciano Juan Torres Ramirez.

Alfonso fue un padre dedicado y su legado sigue vivo a través de sus hijos y nietos, quienes lo recuerdan con amor y cariño. En este momento de dolor, la familia de Alfonso se unen en su amor y recuerdo. Mientras se reúnen para celebrar su vida, encuentran consuelo en las familias eternas.

Un servicio para honrar la vida de Alfonso Torres-Suárez se llevará a cabo el Sábado 26 de Agosto de 2023. El velorio será a las 10 a.m. y los servicios a las 11 a.m. El servicio se realizará en la Estaca Taylorsville North, en 1250 W. Atherton Dr., Taylorsville, UT. Luego, se llevará a cabo un servicio en el cementerio en Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 S., Millcreek, UT.
